Richard is Chief Technology Officer at Origen, leading the development of the company’s technology and the technical capabilities required to take it towards commercial deployment. He brings more than 15 years of experience working with the carbonation of lime, including 14 years at Imerys, and has led Origen’s research into calcined lime and the routes through which it can be carbonated. Richard holds an Engineering Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham and a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
